About Sean

Sean is a motivated self-starter who believes in working hard to achieve goals. He is passionate about helping others and his career has enabled him to do this every day.

After completing his BSc (hons) degree in Physiotherapy in 2006 and his MSc in Sports Physiotherapy in 2012, he moved on to become a Lecturer, Module co-ordinator and Clinical Tutor in UCD. It gives him the opportunity to work with students both in the lecture theatre and out in clinical environments. This role keeps him at the cutting edge of his ever evolving profession, which he translatsa directly into his clinical practice, all for a better service.

He has a keen interest and training in psychology, philosophy, dietetics, acupuncture and the holistic approach to health and well-being.

As a physiotherapist his patients’ well-being, long-term recovery and health are his priorities. He establishes good relationships with patients because as an expert health care professional he understands that he must earn his patients’ trust in order for them to make the best recovery possible.

As founder of his own physiotherapy practice, Be Well Physio, his belief in the kaizen philosophy, in pushing yourself to learn new things consistently everyday has been cemented. Improvement in skill, thinking and ability to help others only comes from implementing lessons learned.
