Axis Café
All welcome, regardless of experience speaking Irish.
We all know the Irish invented Halloween.
But do we all know the Irish word for Halloween?
Irish is an important part of Ballymun and now it’s an important part of Otherworld too!
Lets gather together in the axis café over a cup of tea and get back to our roots with story-telling, music and Halloween chats – as Gaeilge and as Béarla!
Hear from local people and artists, have píosa craic and learn something new!
It doesn’t matter if you’ve never said a word of Irish before, if you only have your cúpla focal or if you’re completely líofa! Everyone is welcome!
