B4b comes together at Musgrave Market Place

In Business, Local Events, Networking Events

Our 1st network meeting of the year took place in Musgrave Market Place, Ballymun on Tuesday 28th January.  The theme for the night was all about setting goals for the year ahead and Des Ryan, Action Coach was on hand with some valuable tips on how to set our goals and moreover achieve them!

There was a great turnout on the night and we enjoyed some wonderful delicacies and refreshments from the Musgrave Food Court as we got reacquainted after the Christmas break.  There was some intense networking going on and we welcomed a number of new faces which always adds to the occasion.

Our Chairman Robert Murphy, Nan’s Super Valu shared some of the success of 2019 and our plans to build on those achievements in 2020.  Robert is very hopeful about the immediate future in Ballymun with new developments such as Decathlon and Lidl due to open this year which will be a great boost for the local economy.  We also welcomed Fiona Doyle and Teresa Clinch from the HSE who offer Individual Placement Support to employers and individuals with mental health issues seeking to re-enter the workplace. They are new to Ballymun and are hoping to engage with a number of local employers over the coming months.

Thanks once again to Brian Staunton and Brian Keenan from Musgrave’s for being such brilliant hosts.

Our next network meeting is set for Tuesday 3rd March – further updates will be available on the website soon.
